Whatever is crumbling all around you in your life, this is true and constant: His heart for you, the real you, the one you try to hide, is gentle and lowly.  So go to Him. That place where you feel most defeated or most anxious, He is there.  As Dane Ortlund puts it, “He lives there, right there, and His heart for you, not on the other side of it, but in the darkness, is gentle and lowly.” 

Do you have that assurance today?  You can.  It comes from walking by the Spirit.  

God help me to cultivate what you’re producing in me.   
God, I commit to keep step with the Holy Spirit.

The fruit of the spirit is simply the visible qualities of your relationship with Christ that people want. Lets live in such a way that people will see our joy and want it for themselves. 

We live by the Spirit and keep in step with the Spirit.  This is the walk of holiness.  This is the fruit of the Spirit. 

What if you understood what is yours in Christ thanks to His work and His Spirit?  How could that transform the way you live?

We have a choice: we can become a social club where we all look alike, talk alike, and feel good about ourselves when we leave a Sunday service.  Or we can, "let [our] light shine before others, so that they may see [our] good works and give glory to [our] Father who is in heaven." 

In Christ, all things are new but just to be sure and put it to rest, have a talk with Jesus. He’s always available.
