You need to know basics about who we are as a church and how we interpret certain passages.  However, we’re not going to divide with other churches if their services look different than ours.  Churches should be very similar in belief, but may have different expressions of what they believe.

We continue our series in 1st Corinthians and Keith shares about how to make the church great again.

God is always a God of restoration.  What does this mean to me? I love how James 4:6-8 spells it out:  But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20: “You are not your own for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

We started of this series by looking at the importance of unity. If we are going to have unity, we must embrace the motto of being spiritually mature…That kind of person humbly makes it all about Christ, not themselves. Pastor Matt takes through further into 1 Corinthians, looking at having freedom in Jesus.
